The Board is the group of people who have been asked to manage the Review.
They come from different agencies and backgrounds, and include staff, carers and
service users.
The
Board will find out about:
needs
for services for adults with learning disabilities, now and in the future,
current
services
how
much money we are spending altogether (NHS and councils)
It
will support Person Centred Planning whilst accepting that there isn't an
unlimited amount of money.
It
will also:
develop
new "Eligibility
Criteria" These are rules that say who can get a service.
come up with
ideas for
better services for adults with Autism and Asperger's syndrome
suggest
how to improve community and hospital services
look at the needs of people coming into or
leaving hospital
