Try exploring, fishing, biking, golf or football, and watch out for the varied wildlife, including deer and herons. The Burngreen has the popular swingpark and a football all-weather pitch. In the Summer, trampolines, pitch and putt golf, tennis, ping-pong, and a practice traffic layout for safe biking and triking are available.

A correspondent writes: " the KCC (congregational church)
run a sports club that attracts approx 100 8-16 year olds every second Friday
and a club for younger ones earlier in the evening which has a waiting list . In
addition to this they also run a Monday club and Girls Brigade on a Thursday. On
a Sunday morning they have the 3:16 club during service time.
These clubs are not run for the benefit of The Church, but as a place for local
youngsters to come along to and enjoy themselves in a fun and safe environment.
In addition to this the Church of God run the ROKK club, again a place for
Children to go and enjoy themselves".
There are many other organised activities in and around
Kilsyth for children of all ages - Beavers, Brownies, Cubs, Guides and Scouts,
Boys and Girls Brigade - we don't have all the details yet, so ask around, and if
