Garrell Vale Community Education Centre is a custom built building and is situated in Kilsyth. The centre was opened in 1977 to serve Kilsyth and surrounding villages.
The centre is opened throughout the year offering a wide range of activities for various community based groups. These include youth clubs, senior citizens club, computing, sport activities, and community café. The function hall can accommodate up to 100 adults seated and has a small stage area. The games hall is full size and can be multi-use.
The centre is on two levels and has limited access to the top level for disabled users.
The centre is open on Mondays to Wednesday and Friday from 8.00am to 10.00pm. Thursdays from 8.00am to 10.30 pm and Sundays from 10.30 am to 3.30pm. The centre is available for lets evenings and weekends by prior booking only.
Garrell Vale Community Education Centre is accessible by car and public transport and bus stops can be found within Kilsyth and from the surrounding villages. There is ample car parking at the front of the Centre If you are travelling by public transport and require details on how best this can be done, click on Public Transport for information.
The centre is on two levels at present there is limited access to the top level for disabled users. The centre has a ramped entrance and a ramp from the car park to the centre is operational. Entrance to the centre is at ground level.
