Banton Loch

Banton Loch is situated 1 mile east of Kilsyth. There is a delightful scenic walk from the car park at the entrance to the Colzium Estate on the Stirling Road, about 1km east of Kilsyth, which takes in the entire south shore of the loch and continues to Banton. The Swan at Banton serves excellent meals, and there is usually a mobile snack bar at the Colzium entrance car park which serves a range of hot drinks and snacks.

It is bank fishing for rainbows and browns using either bait or fly.
The loch is stocked twice a year once in March and again in July
and the season is from March 15th to Oct 6th
