As the dawn arose the sun shone, winked, smiled, and the tents and funfair emerged like butterflies from their cocoons. The sun reached its zenith. For one unforgettable and glorious afternoon and evening our beautiful and normally tranquil Colzium Park was transformed into a different and wholly magical world of gravity-defying acrobatic break dancers, drumming Punjabis, gyrating belly-dancers, Samba bands, guitar-wielding rockstars and Brazilian dancers. It was a day for the KICS kids and their masks and puppets, it was a day for sitting with a beer and some delicious African-style BBQ chicken enjoying some great folk music, it was a day for lazing or dancing by the main stage with all your friends and family soaking up the atmosphere. It was our day, and it will last forever.
